Nuummite is only found in Greenland and usually black in colour and opaque with iridescent strips or flecks. It is one of the oldest known minerals ever discovered, at approx. 3 Billion years old! Forms of pyrite are commonly found within this type of stone as well. As a healing stone, nuummite is known as “The Magicians Stone”. It can be used to increase psychic abilities and intuition. It promotes a balancing of the elemental forces and its defensive qualities make it an excellent shield against many forms of negativity.
