Come and join Blair Jensen for a 4 week introduction to meditation and mindfulness practice that can help to create and promote mental and emotional peace, ease and well-being. Meditation is an empowering practice that can help you to find the stillness and calm that exists in every moment of life, as well as to begin to discover and explore your own truth and inner experience. Learn the process of living your life with centred focus and attention, helping to allow yourself to meet the challenges and stresses of everyday living with calmness and clarity.
Meditation is not something that has to be done in a sacred place, certain posture or time of day. It is a practice that can be done throughout every moment of your life to help you live from a place of comfort and union with the world around you.
During the 4 week course students will be introduced to the following:
- introduction to meditation and mindfulness practice. What meditation is and
why we do it
- 2-4 various meditations per class
- How we can incorporate meditation and mindfulness practices into our everyday life
- How you can begin to create your own personal meditation practice at home
- Period for questions and personal reflections
- Mindfulness tools and techniques to be done throughout each week
