On Thursday May 9, 2018, our very own Lisa Tjaden was honoured with the Mayor’s Biz Award as the Corydon area’s nominee.
One step through the door of Radiance Gifts on Corydon and you’ll understand why they have become known as the business that celebrates love, peace, and community. Since opening in 1995, Radiance Gifts has become one of Canada’s most comprehensive and Winnipeg’s largest “metaphysical headquarters,” supplying a broad spectrum of resources from humanity’s spiritual, healing, and earth wisdom traditions.
In 2007, Lisa Tjaden and her sister Shauna became the new owners of Radiance Gifts and have developed it into Winnipeg’s social gathering point welcoming old friends and attracting new acquaintances to the Corydon strip. Her dedication to the people and area over the past thirteen years have added to business’s longevity and attraction.
Lisa is constantly supporting local schools and community events and has contributed to causes like the CEO Sleepout, Change for the Better, the Never Alone Foundation and Amy Tung’s I Am Love Project, all in an effort to help make Corydon and the City a better place for all. She has been dedicated to supporting and promoting local suppliers, producers and artisans like Kat + Gio, Bries Botanicals and Farmer’s Son Candles.
She has organized and sponsored local events and opportunities for other businesses in the area to help them as well as positioning and establishing Radiance Gifts as Western Canada’s largest metaphysical headquarters and crystal supplier. And with a fully equipped classroom and presentation area, Radiance Gifts’ produces close to 100 events and workshops throughout the year.
