Can I Buy My Own Tarot Deck?

As Winnipeg's leading Tarot and Oracle Card supplier we do our best to keep to date with new releases, questions and any other inquiries that our clients and customers may have. But over the years, the same question keeps popping up over and over again.

“Can I purchase my own Tarot deck?” or “Is it true that it's bad luck to but a Tarot deck for myself?”

Let's address the first question. Yes, of course, you can buy your own Tarot Card Deck! In fact we encourage it. If you stick around waiting for someone to gift you a deck, then, in all probability, you have a long wait ahead of you.
Choosing a Tarot card deck, especially your very first one, can be very tricky. If you look around, you’ll find plenty of advice about this. Most of this advice is pretty spot on about going with your feelings and we agree. You should go with what feels right and this is a rule of thumb for most things. Tarot is about listening to what your guides tell you. So why not use them when purchasing a deck.

Now the second question. “Is it true that it's bad luck to but a Tarot deck for myself?” Cancel, clear, delete! If you believe it and focus on it, then of course it's going to be bad luck. It's goes back to the belief in the Law of Attraction. Simply put, the Law of Attraction is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focused on. It is the Law of Attraction which uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialize them into reality. In basic terms, all thoughts turn into things eventually.
